Block Manager - Hitchin
Full Time - Office Based
Basic Salary £30,000 - £35,000
Our client is currently looking for a Block Manager with a minimum of 3 year’s experience to manage a portfolio of 36 blocks alongside 1 other block manager. You will be joining a well-respected brand taking your career to the next level.
Established for many years and currently dealing with a large portfolio of properties from both private landlords also outsourced from estate agents who cannot facilitate requirements, they require an individual with a similar focus to join them in developing and maintaining their Block Management department. You will need to be self-motivated, an independent thinker and have a calm approach in crisis management being able to manage all situations that arise.
It is important to have a strong understanding of property, block management and pre-tenancy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing a Portfolio of Properties
- Key Management
- Sending welcome letters, inventories and rent codes.
- Right to rents.
- Updating database
- Booking checkouts
- Renewals and tenant swaps
- Promotions
- Adhoc duties
The Individual:
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Excellent team player with the ability to work on your own.
- Excellent IT skills with intermediate MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly motivated and positive with a “can do” attitude.
Qualifications & Experience:
- ARLA preferable
- Experience in Property Manager
