We have a new exciting opportunity not to be missed! We have a great client currently looking to recruit a Property Manager to come and join their Docklands team The successful candidate will join a great team on a permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary with bonuses based on the candidates experience which ideally is 3 years or more as a Property Manager.
They are a privately-owned company focused on providing exceptional customer service, with 5 offices across the City. Their experience and expertise in both the residential and commercial markets put us at the forefront of property agency.
The successful candidate will form part of a successful and experienced property management team and will benefit from mentoring and professional career advancement. They provide a platform for your personality and abilities to shine and enable you to be an ambassador for the Company.
Key responsibilities:
To manage landlords’ rental properties by dealing daily with clients, landlords, tenants and contractors whilst offering excellent professional service.
Obtaining quotes and arranging contractors to repair maintenance issues.
Arranging property inspections and preparing reports to provide to landlords.
Other duties:
Dealing with utility and council tax companies, paying bills on landlords’ behalf.
Paying service charges and ground rent, dealing with block management regarding block issues.
Dealing with landlord and tenant queries, accounts, check out, deposit returns, maintenance queries and move in issues all to be dealt in a timely manner.
Submitting insurance claims and deposit disputes.
Liaising with lettings negotiators to ensure pre-tenancy works is carried out.
Issuing and distributing 6A forms for termination of tenancies and liaising with solicitors for more complex issues.
Monitoring and chasing rent arrears.
Skills and experience required:
Candidates should ideally have 3 years’ experience working in property management and ARLA qualified or looking to study the ARLA award. Candidates must be enthusiastic, well presented, confident, polite, possess first class communication skills and demonstrate a passion for property and a determination to succeed.
Other requirements needed to become our Property Manager:
Must be customer service orientated with good people skills.
Hard working.
Organised and able to meet deadlines.
Excellent work ethic being punctual and reliable.
