An amazing opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated team of property professionals working for a well-known and respected brand. Our client is looking for a dynamic and proactive Assistant Property Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to their clients.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about customer service, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is confident acting in the best interests of the business while effectively stepping into the shoes of the Landlord.


The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate property maintenance across a portfolio of properties, ensuring they remain well-maintained, safe, and compliant with relevant regulations. Responsibilities will include managing contractors, responding to repair requests, conducting inspections, and supporting preventative maintenance plans to protect property value and enhance tenant satisfaction.

As an Assistant Property Manager, your role will involve:



  • Plan, coordinate and oversee property repairs and maintenance, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, promptly and to a suitable standard.

  • Liaise with contractors and service providers, obtain quotations where appropriate and monitor maintenance expenditure within agreed budgets.

  • Conduct routine inspections, identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance schedules to help avoid future problems.

  • Support compliance with relevant health, safety and building regulations, while keeping accurate maintenance and compliance records using Fixflo.

  • Act as a key point of contact for landlords and tenants, responding professionally to repair requests and dealing calmly and promptly with urgent or emergency maintenance matters.

  • Keep an accurate and up to date data base


Experienced



  • Experience using the Fixflo platform — essential.

  • Experience in property or facilities maintenance — essential.

  • Experience managing contractors and service providers — essential.

  • Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation — essential.

  • Practical understanding of property inspections, maintenance planning and budgeting

  • Degree qualification — desirable.

  • Full, clean driving licence and access to a vehicle — desirable.

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.

  • Strong organisational skills

  • Ability to Multitask

  • Ability to stay calm and think clearly when dealing with repairs

  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to work and a strong focus on accuracy

  • Good problem solver and decision making abilities

  • Excellent team player with the ability to work on your own.

  • Excellent IT skills with intermediate MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Highly motivated and positive with a “can do” attitude.
