Senior Property Manager - Wanstead

Salary:  £35,000 - £45,000

Working Hours: 8.30am -6:00pm
 
Our client is looking for an experienced Property Manager, who has previously worked within the same role for a minimum of 3 years.  
Taking on a busy portfolio of properties, it is important you are extremely well organised with excellent local knowledge.
A steady work history within a property management environment is essential and you will have experience in Alto or CFP. You will feel confident in taking decisions and working on your own initiative. Being the contact for both landlords and tenants offering advice on all rental and legal matters alongside organising any necessary maintenance projects.

As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for:
 

• Co-ordinate the departments’ work on a weekly and daily basis


• Bring on new contractors.


• Manage contractor relationships.


• Manage own property portfolio: - including referencing, moves ins, jobs, updating landlords, property inspections etc.


• Ensuring Property Management software systems are kept up to date.


• Ensuring landlords’ and tenants are kept informed.


• Ensuring all regulatory requirements (GSC, Deposit registrations etc.) are met.


• The first port of call for serious tenant/property management issues

 
Requirements:
 

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Senior Property Manager


• Experienced in Alto or CFP


• Ability to manage and monitor staff.


• Ability to handle and resolve Customer complaints.


• Well organised and an excellent multitasker


• Great customer service attitude


• Good understanding of plumbing, electrical, boiler, handyman etc. issues


• Ability to review quotes, pick out anything overpriced or padded.
