Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Property Manager to join their successful Harringay branch and become part of a fantastic, supportive team.
This is a varied and rewarding role, where you’ll be responsible for managing a large portfolio of properties and ensuring the highest standards of service are consistently delivered. Your duties will include conducting regular property inspections, coordinating EPCs and Gas Safety Certificates, and ensuring all properties remain fully compliant with current legislation.
You’ll also play an important role in the continued growth of the business, getting involved in business development activities such as canvassing, prospecting and generating referrals.
The ideal candidate will have previous property management experience, a proactive and enthusiastic approach, and a strong sense of responsibility. You’ll need to demonstrate a proven track record of success and be confident managing client relationships while delivering an exceptional level of customer service.
Property Management is a core part of our client’s business, with many clients having worked with them for several years. As a result, building strong, long-lasting relationships and maintaining the highest standards of customer service are key to success in this role.
As a Property Manager, your role will involve:
- Managing 365 properties with 2 other property managers
- Acting as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants.
- Managing the tenancy lifecycle from move-in through to renewal and end of tenancy.
- Processing rent payments and client account reconciliations
- Managing existing tenancies and negotiating with contractors
- Tenancy renewals and amendments
- Ensuring all properties are compliant with current legislation
- Coordinating repairs and maintenance with contractors and ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
- Working with a team to ensure a high standard of customer service is delivered
- Carry out property inspections
- Responding effectively to emergencies and urgent maintenance issues.
Requirements for the role include:
- provide an excellent customer service experience
- To build and maintain strong client relationships with all clients and staff
- Computer knowledge and the ability to learn new software
- Excellent team player with the ability to work on your own.
- Interpersonal & excellent Communication skills
- Highly motivated and positive with a “can do” attitude.
