Lettings Administrator
Location: Morden
Salary up to £24,000 (Depending on Experience) + Commission
Our client an established and leading Estate Agent based in Morden, South West London has an exciting opportunity for a Lettings Administrator to join their thriving office.
The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and reliable. They are looking for someone preferably with previous lettings administration experience and knowledge of legal procedures and notices to join their expanding team.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organised individual who will be able to carry out tasks through to a successful conclusion. You will be efficient, able to work quickly and accurately under pressure whilst always maintaining excellent client care.
The Role:
- Day to day landlord queries with regards to their rents received.
- Processing contractor’s payments
- Processing pdq payments
- General office administration including taking telephone enquiries and responding to emails
- Serving legal notices, dealing with rent warranty claims and liaising with legal teams and solicitors for evictions
- Maintaining the filing system and software notes system
- Daily and Monthly Bank Reconciliations
- Processing figures when required and end of month to a tight deadline
- Completing staff commission sheets to a tight deadline
- General day to day office duty
- Carry out any such ad hoc duties
The Individual:
- Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- A willingness to undertake administrative tasks in an efficient and timely manner
- Goods literacy and numeracy skills
- Friendly and helpful
- Flexible and able to prioritise a changing to do list
- Good listening skills, able to build strong relationships, is flexible/open-minded, solicits
- performance feedback and handles constructive criticism
- A desire to continuously learn and increase competency levels
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good computer skills especially Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint
- Preferable CFP experience desirable but full training will be given
- Previous Lettings experience preferred
