Pear Recruitment – Sales & Lettings Negotiator – Potters Bar

Salary - £25,000 - £30,000 plus commission OTE £50,000 - £80,000

Hours: 5-day week - Monday – Friday 9am – 6pm, Saturday 9am – 3pm (Day off during the week)

Driver and own car required

The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running, with a solid understanding of the Property Market. Your expertise, energy and professionalism will be the backbone of delivering the bespoke, attentive service that the agency is celebrated for in the local area.

You will:

• Carry out property valuations for both sales and lettings, winning new instructions


• List properties to market with high-quality marketing and pricing strategies


• Conduct viewings for both buyers and tenants, qualifying applicants and matching them to suitable properties


• Negotiate offers and guide deals through to exchange/completion or tenancy agreement


• Liaise with landlords, vendors, tenants and buyers, providing expert advice and excellent service


• Support the smooth running of the office and contribute to growth and performance


• Proactively generate new business through referrals, networking and lead follow-up

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in estate agency, covering both sales and lettings


• Proven success in winning instructions and closing deals across both sectors


• Confident in carrying out valuations and offering strategic property advice


• Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills — able to balance sales and lettings workload


• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities


• Familiarity with Potters Bar and the surrounding area is a bonus


• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle essential
