Our client is looking for a Team Leader for their Territory Support, based in Watford, Hertfordshire.
Core duties will include leading, motivating and measuring a team, providing coaching and personal development to your team members to ensure they have all the necessary skills to provide the excellent customer experience our client prides itself on. They need a manager who can ensure that direct reports receive all necessary coaching, development opportunities and performance management whilst remaining fully focused on Customer Service.
Skills & Experience
At least 2 years’ experience managing a team of 5 or more in a pressurised target driven environment
Ability to work under pressure and successfully lead a team to meet and exceed targets to company deadlines whilst thriving under pressure
A minimum of two years’ experience in a property based role with a good understanding of the UK house sale process from marketing to completion of sale
An ambassador for the business, ensuring the team perform to gold star standard at all times when interacting with stakeholders, clients, buyers, TO’s and ancillary services i.e solicitors / surveyors / brokers
Ability to demonstrate fantastic people management skills, with strong focus on communication, teaching, mentoring and maximising output from each person whilst maintaining a working environment which is both enjoyable and rewarding
A positive and hardworking mentality, with strong work ethic leading from the front which sets the tone for the team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail to oversee and appropriately correct team errors or where communication needs improving
Understanding and ability to analyse sales information to be able to advise the team, clients, buyers and TO’s accordingly
High level time and diary management ensuring the team also perform to company expectations at all times
Proven track record of developing a team to deliver a gold class Customer Service demonstrating genuine passion and drive for turning every client and buyer into a Fan!
Strong listening and qualifying skills in order to understand the needs and requirements of clients and customers and ability to train and manage the team to exercise the same diligence
Ability to build rapport and relationships with team members, clients, buyers and TO’s to ensure clear lines of communication and a detailed understanding of a required outcome for each interaction and maximising winning instructions at every opportunity
Diligence in record keeping and detailed information gathering
Versatile and adaptable to change and embracing business decisions which need to be rolled out
An ambassador for up-selling ancillary services to clients and buyers to maximise revenue
Dealing with issues ad queries swiftly and professionally to ensure the best outcome for the business
Working closely with the Head of the department to ensure the department meets deadlines,targets and exceeds year on year expectations.

Your Experience:
Previous experience of leading a team through times of change
Experience in setting up a new department
Experience of the Valuing propert
A basic understanding on how the hybrid online models compare to the high street agency model
A clear understanding of the conveyancing process
Knowledge of competitors business models and fee structures
The department is open 9am – 9pm and the Team Leaders work on the following 3 shift rota basis:
9am - 5.30pm
11am - 7pm
Saturdays 9:30am – 5pm - 1 in 3 with a day off in lieu day during the week
