Basic Salary £22,000 - £26,000
Our client is a family-owned business, based in Southgate, London N14. A lettings and property management company, with private and social housing clients. Incredibly successful they have been in business for over 25 years. We are now working together on this excellent opportunity for a well organised, career focused individual to join a great company. Working predominantly in the North London area, you will have a keen eye for detail, be flexible & motivated with a can-do attitude.
As a property Inspector, you will need to:
Carry out property inspections.
Carry out occupancy checks.
Report any maintenance issues.
Take supporting photos.
Meet new social housing tenants and give them their keys and complete some paperwork.
Deliver keys to clients, agents, and contractors as necessary.
Take meter readings.
Carry out inspections with local authority inspectors.
Provide access to properties, for instance, sub-contractors, inspectors, council agents, utility companies.
Complete NPA report for the local authority (excel spreadsheet)
Deliver letters and other documentation.
Get keys cut and deliver them to the appropriate person.
Management of small fleet of vehicles
Checking smoke alarms and co detectors
Ad-hoc duties
The ideal candidate will:
Good communicator
Self-motivated
Reliable
Good IT skills
Good written and verbal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good eye for detail
Full UK Driving licence.
Can do attitude.
