Salary – £11.75 PH
Thursday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm
Our client based in Enfield are looking for a candidate who is efficient and outgoing to work within their busy office covering the switchboard and reception area with some post room duties included. Main Duties:- Opening, stamping and sorting incoming post: - Deliver first post by hand around the building, collect internal mail from department out trays at the same time - Pigeon hole the collected internal post - Pigeon hole the 2 nd post, ring relevant people to advise their post is ready for collection from postroom
- Franking (and weighing where necessary) outgoing post, ready for the afternoon post pick up at 4:30pm
- Delivering reasonable sized packages to staff throughout the building
- Accepting deliveries, advising relevant staff of the arrival of large items for storage in garages
- Sending and receiving signed for/recorded delivery items
- Photocopying and shredding as required
- Laminating and binding as required
- Ordering couriers as required, keeping clear records of which members of staff request each job. Identifying staff/departments on corresponding invoices each month.
- Keeping a reasonable supply of stamps
- Ordering stationery: - Monitor stock levels, ensuring reasonable levels are maintained at all times. Auditing periodically to ensure no under/overstocks. Keeping cupboards tidy and accessible, grouping similar items together. - Checking corresponding stationery invoices for accuracy on receipt and forwarding to line manager for payment authorisation.
- Maintaining reasonable levels of Fairview printed stationery including, but not limited to, letterhead, envelopes, compliment slips, printed forms and business cards.
- Ordering supplies for the kitchen
- Ordering diaries, fiscal year planners/wall calendars once a year by September/October
- Provide holiday cover for the other part time post room role (4 weeks p.a)
- Provide cover to switchboard and reception (training will be provided) during busy periods and to cover holiday and sick leave
- Any other similar duties as reasonably required
